Welcome to www.unix-arm.org, a website dedicated to putting UNIX and μnix on embedded ARM microprocessor boards. The UNIX currently is OpenSolaris for ARM port and the ARM boards we are working on or exploring are:
- the mini2440 running a Samsung S3C2440
- the beagle board xM sporting a 1GHz Cortex-A8
- the panda board with an ARM Cortex-A9 Dual Core OMAP 4
The other primary OS we are interested in is μnix (pronounced “myoonix”) and it is currently being ported to the ARM platform from AVR ATXmega. It’s project webpage can be found at http://www.munixos.net/
